9/3/2010 - The Future of Precious Metals

Gold and Silver will become worthless:

(Ezekiel 7:19) 19　"'Into the streets they will throw their very silver, and an abhorrent thing their own gold will become. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's fury. Their souls they will not satisfy, and their intestines they will not fill, for it has become a stumbling block causing their error.

There will be a rampant increase in war, earthquakes, viral diseases, celestial problems, and perhaps even a limited nuclear exchange:

(Luke 21:10-11) 10　Then he went on to say to them: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; 11　and there will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another pestilences and food shortages; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs.

(Zechariah 14:12) 12　"And this is what will prove to be the scourge with which Jehovah will scourge all the peoples that will actually do military service against Jerusalem: There will be a rotting away of one's flesh, while one is standing upon one's feet; and one's very eyes will rot away in their sockets, and one's very tongue will rot away in one's mouth.

The momentum to get nations to relinquish their sovereignty to the UN and their world government vision will succeed for a short time period before everything comes crashing down:

(Revelation 17:12-14) 12　"And the ten horns that you saw mean ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings one hour with the wild beast. 13　These have one thought, and so they give their power and authority to the wild beast. 14　These will battle with the Lamb, but, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them. Also, those called and chosen and faithful with him [will do so]."

It looks like implementing a digital currency is in the works as well:

(Revelation 13:16-17) 16　And it puts under compulsion all persons, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, that they should give these a mark in their right hand or upon their forehead, 17　and that nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name.

It is virtually impossible to predict the exact time of the coming crash:

(Matthew 24:36) 36　"Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.

Cost of basic needs will skyrocket... requiring as much as a days wage to buy food staples:

(Revelation 6:5-6) 5　And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say: "Come!" And I saw, and, look! a black horse; and the one seated upon it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6　And I heard a voice as if in the midst of the four living creatures say: "A quart of wheat for a de·nar′i·us, and three quarts of barley for a de·nar′i·us; and do not harm the olive oil and the wine."

Massive depopulation will eventually result:

(Jeremiah 25:32-33) 32　"This is what Jehovah of armies has said, 'Look! A calamity is going forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest itself will be roused up from the remotest parts of the earth. 33　And those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be bewailed, neither will they be gathered up or be buried. As manure on the surface of the ground they will become.'

Good News!... There will be a nucleus of survivors into a much better run spiritually based system of things:

(Revelation 7:13-14) 13　And in response one of the elders said to me: "These who are dressed in the white robes, who are they and where did they come from?" 14　So right away I said to him: "My lord, you are the one that knows." And he said to me: "These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Our spirituality and approved relationship with the Creator and his Son Jesus is what will protect and save us:

(John 17:3) 3　This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
