This .. I noticed came just after the New Zealand ( Downgraded 5.9) and the Honshu 6.0 Something definitely is cooking .. What with the fireball making it to the MSM and all this.. someone was counting 188 days from Chile quake to march 11 quake and today..Thursday was 188 days.
EMSC says it's 5.2...
M 5.2 - CUBA REGION - 2011-09-15 08:43 UTC
Still unusual for that region.

one day?
we have japan, new zealand and now cuba in the last hour. looks like a perfect triangle.
earthquake.usgs.gov...
Here is a good chart of earthquake statistics.
According to this, there are roughly 3 - 4 earthquakes a day every year that are 5.0 - 5.9, or roughly 1319 a year.
It also says there should be one 6.0 - 6.9 roughly every three days.
I do think it is very interesting that there have been a series of earthquakes lately in places that generally (as far as i know) do not have quakes too often in recent history, but I can also agree that we are probably just a lot more aware and alert to earthquakes nowadays, especially since Japan and all of us thinking about Oct. 28 2011 and/or the 2012 date.
I definitely think something is changing. We can all feel it. But we should be scientific in our research and accept the fact that not everything we are seeing is in direct result of the approaching changing of times.
I think most of us are looking for scientific validation of what we already feel is going on.
There are more earthquakes. See here modernsurvivalblog.com...
A different way of looking at quake stats...
Instead of a rolling avg., a year-to-date.
Magnitude 8 - 9.9
2011 Earthquakes (1)
annual average (1)
100% of 20yr. YTD avg. until day #255
Magnitude 7 - 7.9
2011 Earthquakes (15)
annual average (14)
150% of 20yr. YTD avg. until day #255
Magnitude 6 - 6.9
2011 Earthquakes (152)
annual average (134)
162% of 20yr. YTD avg. until day #255
Magnitude 5 - 5.9
2011 Earthquakes (1,825)
annual average (1,319)
198% of 20yr. YTD avg. until day #255
And maybe this happens one every so many years.
But three in one hour is still not that normal.
